Accepting Nominations for Board of Directors
The Argyle Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for Board of Directors. Each Director is elected to a 2-year term. You must be a member in good standing and have been a Chamber member for 1 year in order to be nominated.
The Board meets at noon on the first Wednesday of each month. Currently we are meeting in the conference room at North Star Bank, and lunch is provided. In addition to attending board meetings, Directors are expected to participate in Chamber activities and help promote the Chamber.
Our current Board of Directors includes: Phil Loftis, Sigma Signs and Printing, President; Jeanie Gold, recently retired!, 1st Vice President; Chris Daniel, Argyle ISD, Secretary; Danny Mitchell, Ciera Bank, Treasurer; Gavin Fleten, Optimized Local Search Services, co-Vice President of Membership and Events; Chris Stabile, Payworks, Co-Vice President of Membership and Events; Chris Dominguez, All About Babies, Director; Michelle Simms, Liberty Christian School, Director; Michelle Steppe, Cachette Bistro, Director; Steve Watkins, Fuzzy's Taco Shop, Director. Jim Bridges, State Farm Insurance, Immediate Past President.
Pamala Hamilton, a past president, will chair the nominating committee and she will be accepting nominations via email to: [email protected].
Nominations will close on November 1. Elections will take place at our November breakfast meeting, November 18th, at Denton Country Club.
Office Hours (Effective August 20, 2014): Monday - Friday 10 AM to 3 PM. Please note! We have a one-person office. Occasionally the office may NOT be staffed during office hours due to member visits, special events, etc.
